As business people, there is no business unless there is profit when we provide products, services or both for a profit.  And, there is no profit if we do not sell stuff.  And, who do we have to sell to?  We have to sell to people that need or want our products.

Therefore, the #1 thing you should be doing to grow your business is to increase your client base.

#2 thing you should be doing to grow your business is

Once we have a client base that is buying from us, like us, trust us, then we ask for ________.

The #2 thing you should be doing to grow your business is to ask for referrals.

Therefore, I am asking you if you know anyone that loves custom artisan beanie hats to send them over here to me.

#3 thing you should be doing to grow your business is

Some of my social media friends do amazing in ___________.  Those that do it well, I have come to recognize your face in my social media feed.

Therefore, the #3 thing you should be doing to grow your business is to increase your exposure.  You have to get your message in front of people and increase your influence.

Have you lost your enthusiasm for your business?

Sometimes when the results are not what I have expected, I am also vulnerable to lose my enthusiasm for my business.

Thanks to Heavenly Father, I hear this voice in my head, and it gets me in the right track again and I gain my enthusiasm for my business; just keep going I hear.

Having a dream, writing it down, assigning my goals with timelines, keeps me focused on my star and helps with my enthusiasm for my business.

If you are not already aware, through my other posts, I had a dream; ambitious actually.  One hundred hats for children with cancer.  "You don't have to make so many," my sister said to me one day while we talked on the phone.  "But, I want to, and Heavenly Father is blessing my hands; my hands don't hurt," I responded.

Going back to the dream of donating 100 hats to children with cancer, it was a dream first, and then I planned how I was going to achieve that dream before Christmas; I had to focus.  My enthusiasm is what keeps me going.  My thinking about what I know about manufacturing is being very useful to achieving this dream.

Therefore, if you feel that you are losing your enthusiasm for your business, it is time to stop, analyze your inner self, and find out your "why"; your "why" you are doing what you are doing.

"You better prepare yourself, because once I wear my custom elf beanie hat, demand is going to come in," Bola said.

I did not expect the demand for my elf beanie hats to be great, but I have not stopped.

It all started with my elf beanie hat, I wanted something special for this coming Christmas.

Then, I showed it to my son, and with his suggestions, I created his elf beanie hat.

Then, Lu wanted one, and with her suggestions, I created Lu's elf beanie hat.

Then, Pepe complained why he did not have an elf beanie hat, and with his suggestions, I created his elf beanie hat.

Then, Vane wanted a pink and white elf beanie hat.

Then, I have to create Chelsea's her baby elf beanie hat.

And, now they are talking about a family picture with everyone wearing an elf beanie hat.

Public Speaking Video ... He was amazing.

He was amazing ... he doesn't see it; I see it.  He can most likely be the greatest future public speaking person.

When you see talent, give them a couple words of encouragement, that might be all that the person needs.  

And, that is what I did.  I gave this young fellow encouragement to pursue a career in public speaking.

As I viewed his video, I could tell that he captured his audience as he was public speaking.

Sadly, he did not want to share his private video of him public speaking.  I did encourage him to do show his video to someone that would appreciate seeing it.  And, to create some sort of portfolio of his public speaking videos.

Who is the favorite son?

For those that are not aware, I have four sons.  And, this was the topic of the car ride today with my eldest son.  He was telling me a short story that while drinking, my boys had this conversation.  Two girlfriends were there and were hearing what my boys were saying.  And, they all came to the conclusion that my favorite was Mana, the eldest.  My third son, according to the short story, was emotional because he stated that he tries everyday to be my favorite.  And, that Mana had to do nothing and he was the favorite.  In his opinion, Mana did not deserve to be the favorite.

So my son asked, "Who is the favorite son?"

"Son, I do not have a favorite.  I love you all the same," I responded.
I have no idea who Dr. Drew is, but Mana responded, "Dr. Drew says you are a lair."
"I am not Dr. Drew.  I do not feel like Dr. Drew.  Dr. Drew and I are different," I responded.

First, I must add, that my mother nicked named my eldest son Buscabullas; for being an instigator.  Therefore, his short story most likely is questionable.

So, who is my favorite son?

And, to tell you the truth, I am not able to distinguish who I love the most.  I have demonstrated my love to all the same.  All my sons, just the sight of them, makes me happy.

Mana brings laughter with his questionable questions and constant kisses on my forehead.  Danny brings love with his smiles and laughter.  David brings an unbelievable vocabulary that is delightful to hear.  Pepe brings almost daily hugs and the greatest smile.

No!  I do not know who is my favorite.  Therefore, I have no favorite.

But, if you want me to say, just to bring peace to my boys.  Then, in that case, Lobo is my favorite.  My Honey calls Lobo a traitor because he almost always comes to me when I go outside.  He likes to play with me and he scratches my legs when he wants to play.  No shorts around Lobo; hate the scratches.  And, when he hears my car pull up the driveway, he starts howling and running back and forth from the yard to the back porch.  He knows how to demand his food and let me know that he is hungry.

"I have no favorite.  In my heart I love all my boys the same."

I Become What I Focus On

I am going to say "I" instead of "we" because I can only control what I do.

I Become What I Focus On

I focus on Heavenly Father first.  I may be crazy, but I believe I hear him varies times through out the day.

I have heard and grown up with the idea that Heavenly Father is first, family is second, and then career is third.  What happened with the idea?  Now, career is first, family is second, and Heavenly Father is third.

Well, that explains it; there is people with little faith, families becoming to complex, and careers that think that they own us by demanding much time; that keeps us away from family and Heavenly Father.

I Become What I Focus On ~ Faith

I have little regards for religious institutions.  And, I have high regard in believing in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.  Nothing comes to me unless it is in the name of Jesus Christ.  Therefore, I pray to Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ practically various moments throughout the day; that is how much I need them.

I once heard that if I go to a religion and the preacher is talking about himself, to give them two pennies and spit on them when they pass the collection basket.

Religions should be focusing in teaching you about Heavenly Father and not about what the preacher personal needs.

I Become What I Focus On ~ Family

My children are aware that I am a great believer in Heavenly Father, and that I focus on what the family needs.  We need money and that has to come around the family needs.  It is very important that family comes before money.  We have to get creative.  I have to be available for my spouse and my children.

When I hear the word "mom", I stop what I am doing and go to them.  I am their mother and I am available to them.  I want that when they have questions that they come to me and not turn to the streets for answers.  The same goes for my Honey; when he calls, I go to him.  Everyday, I make time for him; we talk about what is best for our family, budgets, what the family needs, and how we are going to get it.

And, the more we do, the less money we need.  Heavenly Father blesses our gardens.  We freeze, and can food for the winter months.  And, as I focus on this, the more I learn how to preserve food.

I Become What I Focus On ~ Career

I am glad that the children have the entrepreneur mentality.  Yesterday, my son, said, "I cannot believe that dad just made what I made in 8 hours in an hour.  He just needs more jobs."

Let us go back in history a bit.  What did Jesus Christ earthly father do for a living?  He was an entrepreneur.

We all have different skills that we are good at.  It is time to use them and create your own job, grow it into a business, and invest to grow it some more.  How much more?  To tell you the truth, if there is food in the table, bills are paid, I have clothes over my body; I am rich.

If the economy is bad,  entrepreneurs can make it move by buying and selling products and services.

Injustice ~ Journalists' Are Helping Others To Be In The Know

Injustice goes against who I am

Heavenly Father is justice.  I am seeing much injustice all over the world and it saddens me.  It saddens me more when people think that they cannot do anything about it.  Injustice will exist as long as the "just" allow it.

Injustice is a detestable thing

Injustice is a detestable thing.  More detestable is seeing innocent people fighting for a cause being deprived of their right to happiness by being deprived from their freedom.

Journalists' the "Time of Zoy" is coming.  Let's do and act in faith in Heavenly Father.  And, when we act, we act in peace for the well-being of others.

Journalist Facing Injustice

Speaking against injustice is helping others.  Speaking against injustice is not vandalizing others hard work or hurting others.  Speaking against injustice is moving the human race into what is acceptable and not acceptable behavior.  

For instance, it is unacceptable behavior to tax people on their homes over and over again.  It is unacceptable behavior because it is a legal form of thievery to satisfy others wants and needs.  Therefore, I am waiting for "The Time of Zoy" for our societies that have become such a heavy burden are unfit to lead.  I am unfit to lead.  Only Heavenly Father is fit to lead.

Our society has to understand that we all have different needs and wants.

Who is the creator of rainwater?

The Creator is the only one that has the right to say what can and cannot be done with rainwater  

Rainwater is given to the Earth for its needs when the Creator thinks we need the rainwater.

Why is the most likely reason why this man is being sent to prison over rainwater?

Is it greed?  Look to the Heavens; for the "Time of Zoy" is coming.  If the man is collecting rainwater for his needs, that means that the man is needing less of the water that he is paying for.  Greed is a big monster that is consuming the world.  It is time to stop thinking only about self and think about others.

When we think about others and we help each other, then, and only then, the world will become a better place.
